  1. Recording Into the Score

  5. The second method uses the fact that a sequence track can be created inside a score.  Under the Score menu, select "Add Track Staff."

  7. ¬†A Track staff will be added to your
  8. score. An example is shown below:

  21. The cursor is positioned on a small rectangle on the left.  When this rectangle is clicked in it will turn red which means that this track is now assigned for recording. You can create and assign as many tracks as you wish.

  23. Click into the score to show anthem where to begin recording.   Use the Record Pane to record as shown below:

  33. To record into a track staff in a score, click on Record or Punch.   The former button will add material at the insert point while the latter will punch in, that is replace, any MIDI data for the number of measures that you record.

  40. 2) Assign the track by clicking on the second rectangle down on the left.
